Why I crossed the table.

After 13 years in enterprise sales at Databricks, SAS, Splunk and MicroStrategy, I had a clear view of something most buyers never see: how much of the invoice is negotiable, where the real waste sits, and which platform features nobody actually uses.

I watched enterprise teams renew contracts year after year without ever questioning the consumption model. I watched budgets get approved based on vendor-supplied projections. I watched cloud costs quietly double while nobody owned the number.

The advisory side wasn't a career pivot. It was the obvious next move. The knowledge I built selling these platforms is exactly what companies need to stop overpaying for them.
